The Way – Fruitage of the Spirit

Next, is the Fruitage of the Spirit that is to be cultivated. The spiritual earth will eventually merge with the physical earth and when that happens, you will all be materializing as humans in the flesh once again. You need to learn all of these things that you just went through, and what you are about to read. All of these things will be part of the Sovereign Law in Christ’s promised Kingdom that you are all to inherit. Write these commands upon your hearts.

You must cultivate chastity:

1 Timothy 4:12 No one should despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

1 Timothy 5:1-2 Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and with all propriety, the younger women as sisters.

1 Peter 3:1-2 Wives, in the same way, submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, even if some disobey the Christian message, they may be won over without a message by the way their wives live, when they observe your pure, reverent lives.

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your minds may be corrupted from a complete and pure devotion to Christ.

You must cultivate confidence and trust in Yahweh as your benefactor to have the prospect of eternal life:

Proverbs 3:26 for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from a snare.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding;

Proverbs 28:25 A greedy person provokes conflict, but whoever trusts in the LORD will prosper.

Proverbs 20:22 Don’t say, “I will avenge this evil!” Wait on the LORD, and He will rescue you.

You must cultivate a mind-set that you consider others more superior than yourself. Yahweh loves those who are lowly in mind, showing humility. (lowly: low in status or importance):

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of rivalry or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves.

Romans 12:3 For by the grace given to me, I tell everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he should think. Instead, think sensibly, as God has distributed a measure of faith to each one.

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, Epaphras, who is one of you, a slave of Christ Jesus, greets you. He is always contending for you in his prayers, so that you can stand mature and fully assured in everything God wills.

You must be content with what you have at present:

1 Timothy 6:8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these.

Hebrews 13:5 Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you.

You must learn to be cooperative:

Ephesians 4:16 From Him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building up itself in love by the proper working of each individual part.

1 Corinthians 16:16 also to submit to such people, and to everyone who works and labors with them.

You must develop confidence and courage as a part of your mental makeup:

Philippians 1:14 Most of the brothers in the Lord have gained confidence from my imprisonment and dare even more to speak the message fearlessly.

2 Corinthians 5:6 Therefore, though we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord

You must be encouraging and up building to others:

Hebrews 10:24, 25 And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works, 25 not staying away from our meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Romans 1:11-12 For I want very much to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you, that is, to be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.

Romans 15:2 Each one of us must please his neighbor for his good, in order to build him up.

You must learn to be enduring, persevering, and steadfast in your loyalty to Christ and his Father Yahweh that have opened your eyes to the Truth. You must be for the Truth, at any cost:

Matthew 24:13 But the one who ensured to the end will be delivered.

Hebrews 10:36 For you need endurance, so that after you have done God’s will, you may receive what was promised.

Galatians 6:9 So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.

Hebrews 12:3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, so that you don’t grow weary and lose heart.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord’s work, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

To do the above, you must cultivate unwavering faith in Christ and Yahweh. Your goal is to earn eternal life and to please Yahweh. That faith puts you in unity:

1 John 5:4 because whatever has been born of God conquers the world. This is the victory that has conquered the world: our faith.

Hebrews 10:30 For we know the One who has said, Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay, and again The Lord will judge His people.

Hebrews 11:6 Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who draws near Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him.

You must prove your faith by being faithful in small matters as well as large things that put you to the test:

Luke 16:10 Whoever is faithful in very little is also faithful in much, and whoever is unrighteous in very little is also unrighteous in much.

You must learn to fear the one you love – Yahweh; because He alone can determine whether or not you are in unity. Fear of Him teaches you wisdom.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Psalms 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His instructions have good insight. His praise endures forever.

Proverbs 8:13 To fear the LORD is to hate evil. I hate arrogant pride, evil conduct, perverse speech.

Psalms 33:8 Let the whole earth tremble before the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

You must be forgiving just as Yahweh is forgiving:

Mark 11:25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven will also forgive you your wrongdoing.

Matthew 18:21-22 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how many times could my brother sin against me and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” “I tell you, not as many as seven” Jesus said to him, “but 70 times seven.”

Ephesians 4:23 you are being renewed in the spirit of your minds, you put on the new man, the one created to God’s likeness in righteousness and purity of the truth.

You must show generosity just as Yahweh was generous in the undeserved kindness he offered mankind through the Ransom Sacrifice:

2 Corinthians 9:11 as you are enriched in every way for all generosity, which produces thanksgiving to God through us.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure – pressed down, shaken together, and running over – will be poured into you lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

You must have and show Godly devotion to Yahweh your Creator:

1 Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is a great gain.

2 Peter 2:9 then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment.

You must cultivate goodness in your heart. It too comes from Yahweh:

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Ephesians 5:9 for the fruit of the light results in all goodness, righteousness, and truth – discerning what is pleasing to the Lord.

You must cultivate hospitality. You are never going to live alone in the Kingdom, so you need to learn to be friendly and generous to others:

Romans 12:13 Everyone must submit to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist are instituted by God.

Hebrews 13:2 Don’t neglect to show hospitality, for by doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it.

1 Peter 4:9 Be hospitable to one another without complaining.

You need to learn to have humility and to be modest:

Matthew 23:12 Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you in due time.

Micah 6:8 He has told you men what is good and what it is the LORD requires of you: Only to act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God.

1 Timothy 2:9 Also, the women are to dress themselves in modest clothing, with decency and good sense; not with elaborate hairstyles, gold, pearls, or expensive apparel.

You must learn to be impartial the same as Yahweh is:

1 Peter 1:17 And if you address as Father the One who judges impartially based on each one’s work, you are to conduct yourselves in reverence.

James 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without complaint, without favoritism and hypocrisy.

Proverbs 28:21 It is not good to show partiality – yet a man may sin for a piece of bread.

Yahweh does not like a lazy person; therefore you must strive to be industrious as well as whole-souled in your commitment to Him.

Hebrews 6:11 Now we want each of you to demonstrate the same diligence for the final realization of your hope.

Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically, as something done for the Lord and not for men.

Ephesians 6:6 Don’t work only while being watched, in order to please men, but as slaves of Christ, do God’s will from your heart.

You must cultivate the spirit of joy. Your future is one of happiness, so think of that and be joyful even now:

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith

Philippians 3:1 Finally my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write to you again about this is no trouble for me and is a protection for you.

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

You should develop a keen interest in other people’s welfare:

Philippians 2:4 Everyone should look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

1 Corinthians 10:24 No one should seek his own good but the good of the other person.

1 Thessalonians 5:14-15 And we exhort you, brothers: warn those who are lazy, comfort the discouraged, help the week, be patient with everyone. See to it that no one repays evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all.

You must show kindness to other people, regardless of their faith:

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith

2 Corinthians 6:4, 6 But in everything, as God’s ministers, we commend ourselves: by purity, by knowledge, by patience, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love

Micah 6:8 He has told you men what is good and what it is the LORD requires of you; Only to act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God.

Ephesians 4:32 And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.

You must have love in your heart for not only Christ and Yahweh, but for all of creation that is positive in nature:

John 13:35 “Lord,” Simon Peter said to Him, “where are you going?” Jesus answered, “Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you will follow later.”

Colossians 3:14 Above all, put on love – the perfect bond of unity

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith

1 Corinthians 14:1 Pursue love and desire spiritual gifts, and above all that you may prophesy.

1 Peter 4:8 Above all, keep your love for one another at full strength, since love covers a multitude of sins.

You must have loyalty:

Luke 1:74-75 since we have been rescued from our enemies’ clutches, to serve Him without fear, in holiness and righteousness in His presence all our days.

Ephesians 4:24 you put on the new man, the one created according to God’s likeness in righteousness and purity of the truth.

Psalms 116:15 The death of His faithful ones is valuable in the LORDs sight.

You must show mercy:

James 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without favoritism and hypocrisy.

Matthew 9:13 Go and learn what this means: I desire mercy and not sacrifice.

Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, because they will be shown mercy.

You must have mildness:

Galatians 5:22-23 But of the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith.

Colossians 3:10-12 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of his Creator.

Titus 3:2 to slander no one, to avoid fighting, and to be kind, always showing gentleness to all people.

1 Timothy 6:11 Now you, man of God, run from these things; but pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.

You must learn to be moderate in habits:

1 Timothy 3:2,11 An overseer, therefore, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, self-controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, an able teacher. Wives, too, must be worthy of respect, not slanderers, self-controlled, faithful in everything.

Titus 2:2 Older men are to be self-controlled, worthy of respect, sensible, and sound in faith, love and endurance.

You must learn to be orderly:

Galatians 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, we must also follow the Spirit.

Philippians 3:16 In any case, we should live up to whatever truth we have attained.

1 Timothy 3:2 An overseer, therefore, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, self-controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, an able teacher.

Just as Yahweh and Christ have, you too should have patience and long suffering:

James 5:7 Therefore, brothers, be patient until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth and is patient until it received the early and the late rains.

Hebrews 6:12 teaching about ritual washings, laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and faith.

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

1 Thessalonians 5:14 And we exhort you, brothers, warn those who are lazy, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

You should pursue peace:

Hebrews 12:14 Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness – without it no one will see the Lord.

Romans 14:19 So then, we must pursue what promotes peace and what builds up one another.

Romans 12:18 If possible, on your part, live at peace with everyone.

1 Peter 3:11 and he must turn away from evil and do good. He must seek peace and pursue it.

2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brothers, rejoice. Be restored, be encouraged, be of the same mind, be at peace and the God of love and peace will be with you.

1 Peter 4:7 Now the end of all things is near; therefore be clear-headed and disciplined for prayer.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray constantly

Romans 12:12 Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer.

You should always prove your faith by putting spiritual matters first:

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be provided for you.

You must always be ready to obey Christ – the Living Word – and Yahweh our Father:

James 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without favoritism or hypocrisy.

Hebrews 5:9 After He was perfected, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.

You must learn to have reasonableness:

Philippians 4:5 Let your graciousness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.

Titus 3:2 to slander no one, to avoid fighting, and to be kind, always showing gentleness to all people.

James 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without favoritism or hypocrisy.

1 Timothy 3:2-3 An overseer, therefore, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, and controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, an able teacher, not addicted to wine, not a bully but gentle, not quarrelsome, not greedy.

You must learn to be respectful of others:

1 Peter 3:15 but set apart the Messiah as Lord in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.

Ephesians 5:33 To sum it up, each one of you is to love his wife as himself, and the wife is to respect her husband.

You must learn to have self-control:

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

2 Peter 1:5-6 For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge, knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with godliness.

Titus 1:7-8 For an overseer, as God’s manager, must be blameless, not arrogant, not quick tempered, not addicted to wine, not a bully, not greedy for money, but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, righteous, holy, self-controlled. You must become serious minded. Lives lie in the balance. Christ never joked or made light of the seriousness of this spiritual conflict. Where the Truth is concerned, you should be dead serious in attitude:

Philippians 4:8 Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable – if there is any moral excellence and if there is any praise – dwell on these things.

1 Timothy 3:8,11 Deacons, likewise, should be worthy of respect, not hypocritical, not drinking a lot of wine, not greedy for money, Wives, too, must be worthy of respect, not slanderers, self-controlled, faithful in everything.

Titus 2:2 Older men are to be self-controlled, worthy of respect, sensible, and sound in faith, love, and endurance.

You must learn to be submissive to Yahweh’s Will and those that he has put in charge:

Hebrews 13:17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account, so they can do this with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable to you.

Colossians 3:18 Wives, be submissive to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

You must exhibit tender compassion:

Colossians 3:12 Therefore, God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

Ephesians 4:32 And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.

You must cultivate what the essence of the Word is. He is the exact image of Yahweh. To mirror the Word, you must learn to have complete truthfulness in your makeup:

Ephesians 4:25 Since you put away lying, Speak the truth, each one to his neighbor, because we are members of one another.

2 Corinthians 6:4-7 But in everything, as God’s ministers, we commend ourselves: by the message of truth, by the power of God; through weapons of righteousness on the right hand and the left

You must develop wholesomeness of speech. The mouth of the righteous one is a source of life:

Titus 2:6-8 Likewise, encourage the young men to be sensible about everything. Set an example of good works yourself, with integrity and dignity in your teaching. Your message is to be sound beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be ashamed, having nothing bad to say about us.

Proverbs 10:11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
