Gaining Understanding Before Wisdom

“the only way to GAIN wisdom is by SEEKING understanding first.”

The above quote is correct.

Job 28:28 “He said to mankind, “Look! The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to turn from evil is understanding.”

How can one come to fear Father if they do not have understanding of what Father’s counsel is really all about? The wisdom comes from an understanding of the truth. That understanding causes wisdom to be imparted to those that seek Father in truth. It instills them to turn away from doing evil. When Christ Jesus said he’d come to make his Father’s name known, that was the basis for coming to an understanding of who Father really is and what was expected from Her sheep. Later, wisdom was imparted by Father’s Spirit so that those twelve disciples understood what the truth actually was. This was the imparting of wisdom that came forth after having understanding.

Those that gain understanding of the truth, but they do not accept it, they lack Father’s wisdom of the heart. This is why Dawn Lucifer and his demons and the converts, they know with deep felt understanding what the truth is, but they have no holy spirit from Father. They have no wisdom, so simply knowing and understanding the truth will not save anyone. It is understanding coupled with wisdom that comes down from above. The ability to understand the truth is there for all free will agents to comprehend, but the wisdom of the heart must be given by Father.

Job 12:12 “Wisdom is found with the elderly, and understanding comes with long life.”

Wisdom and understanding go hand in hand. The longer you live under Father’s rule the wiser you become, and understanding continues throughout your existence.

Job 12:13 “Wisdom and strength belong to God; counsel and understanding are His.”

Job 8:10 “Will they not teach you and tell you and speak from their understanding?”

Those that teach from their own understanding, they impart understanding to those that are open minded. Wisdom follows understanding, and is why some are warned not to become wise in their own eyes. That is worldly wisdom. Father’s wisdom is planted within the heart.

Think of it this way. When you were a child you did not have wisdom to not play in a street, but your parents guarded over you until they could bring your mind to an understanding of what tragic event might occur. Later you became old enough to see first hand that animals and humans are run over and killed in streets. From past learning and knowledge taught to you about the danger, and seeing what can happen, you gained wisdom. That is worldly wisdom, but wisdom that is beneficial. With Father’s wisdom, you also gain insight.

1 Kings 4:29 “[ Solomon’s Wisdom and Literary Gifts ] God gave Solomon wisdom, very great insight, and understanding as [vast] as the sand on the seashore.”

Father’s wisdom knows all things.

2 Samuel 14:20 “Joab your servant has done this to address the issue indirectly, but my lord has wisdom like the wisdom of the Angel of God, knowing everything on earth.”

The goal is to obtain the wisdom from Father that comes from a basic understanding of the truth. This is what happens when people pass to the other side. They are counseled to gain understanding. If they accept the truth of Father’s side in this war, then they gain wisdom. If they decline, then they have understanding but no wisdom concerning Father’s Way. They choose an alternate course.

It is a relationship akin to taking in true knowledge verses false knowledge or knowledge that does not benefit you spiritually. The latter could be example by the intake of knowledge and subsequent understanding of “rancidity.” If you studied that subject, took in the knowledge, gained the understanding that butter for example, if left exposed to warm moist air for a length of time it would turn rancid. Furthering your understanding of this subject, you would learn that with the rancidity the butter loses its flavor and acquires a disagreeable odor. You would also learn through your coming to an understanding, that two kinds of reactions are responsible for rancidity. They are “hydrolysis” and “oxidation.” In this example you have been imparted KNOWLEDGE, and UNDERSTANDING. The first two of three parts. WISDOM follows the first two parts. I’ll explain.

Without any of the above knowledge or understanding, if butter goes bad your God-given sense of smell warns you that the butter is foul and should not be eaten. This is a gift from Father that is expressed through nature. Your ability to distinguish good from bad by simply smelling it. Another could be taste. Or, it might show signs of being rancid to your ability of sight.

Whether you have taken in knowledge coupled with understanding, or your God-given senses warn you of something being fouled, here enters WISDOM. The wisdom is that you do not partake of something that might harm you. Just as I refused to take an action that would harm myself when tempted by Satan. I was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the Devil. That “Spirit” was Father’s. The Devil had no control over me. Father’s Spirit led me to be tested by Her archenemy as part of my mission on this planet. My wisdom was not to do bodily harm to myself by putting Father’s command to Her holy angels to the test. This wisdom came from my knowledge and understanding of the human vessel, but also, from the wisdom imparted to me by Father.

Matthew 4:5 “Then the Devil took Him to the holy city, had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: He will give His angels orders concerning you and, they will support you with their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” My reply: 6″Jesus told him, “It is also written: Do not test the Lord your God. ”

It is not a good thing to abuse your vessel or to test Father. Satan knew I’m the Son of Father. The test was to try and stumble me by showing pride, stubbornness, self-will and independence on my part which are enemies of understanding of Father’s Way. The wisdom I possess told me not to test Father, but to answer him from Father’s own Word, of which I’m the Living Word of our Creator. All answers to all questions are found within the Word. In all three tests Satan gave me I answered him with Father’s writings, and withstood his tests by the wisdom I possess from above. “from above” is not heaven. It is Father who is above all other things in existence.

KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING, WISDOM.

Understanding must be based on knowledge. Wisdom is derived from the first two parts. But with Father, and a deeper understanding of Her Way, there must also be WORKS with knowledge. Is that not also in the Word? John 10:25 “I did tell you and you don’t believe,” Jesus answered them. “The works that I do in My Father’s name testify about Me.”

Where did my works come from? John 10:32 “Jesus replied, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. Which of these works are you stoning Me for?”

So now we have added WORKS to your list. But the first three parts are the foundation for performing works. You acquired wisdom to help you with your works. Your stewardship’s are works. Father works, I work, the entire holy family works. Satan and his followers are busy working. We all work, but: John 10:37 “If I am not doing My Father’s works, don’t believe Me.” If I was not doing Father’s works, then I would be opposing Father, for Satan’s works are in opposition and are measured in lies against the truth. So children, why are Father’s works important? John 10:38 But if I am doing them and you don’t believe Me, believe the works. This way you will know and understand that the Father is in Me and I in the Father.” Do you comprehend the last part of that Scripture. Father’s Wisdom is within me. I reside within Father, just as all creation does, literally.

The purpose for Father’s Proverbs:

Proverbs 1:1-6 “The Purpose of Proverbs.
1 The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:
2 For gaining wisdom and being instructed;
for understanding insightful sayings;

3 for receiving wise instruction
[in] righteousness, justice, and integrity;

4 for teaching shrewdness to the inexperienced,
knowledge and discretion to a young man—

5 a wise man will listen and increase his learning,
and a discerning man will obtain guidance—

6 for understanding a proverb or a parable,
the words of the wise, and their riddles.”

“2 For gaining wisdom and being instructed; for understanding insightful sayings;” As you gain wisdom from past knowledge and understanding, you are further instructed for more understanding and insightful sayings, that is, “saying >noun a short, commonly known expression containing advice or wisdom.” Father’s advice is wisdom directly from Father. If you come to an understanding of what Father’s thoughts are within the Word, then the wisdom is imparted. Part of the Word contains instructions. Those instructions are a guide to those that seek Father with an honest and good heart. Father does not wish that anyone should perish. But each person must stand on their own merit.

Understanding is based on knowledge. Works with knowledge is in itself more than mere knowledge. The extent and worth of your understanding is measurably affected by the quantity and quality of your gained knowledge. Knowledge is an acquaintance with facts, and the greatest and most fundamental fact is Yahweh our Father and Mother of creation, Her existence, Her invincible purpose and power, and Her Way.

If you purchase or borrow a book and it contains knowledge and possibly instructions that are hard to discern from the first reading, then perhaps you will re-read it over and over trying to gain an understanding of what the instructions are trying to explain and convey so that you get the full meaning. Perhaps the more you read the less you can comprehend what it’s really trying to instruct you on. This is how the Word was written. It was written so that Father’s Wisdom must come into play in order to fully get the sense of the deeper meanings within the Word. In this way, Father’s Word acts as block against those that are undeserving of eternal life’s hope. They imagine that the Word says something entirely different than what Father spoke. In this, they lean upon their own understanding. But Father has provided a helper for Her flock so that they continue to receive wisdom from Her.

With the Word, there is an interaction of mind and heart upon those whom She chooses, by their considering, analyzing, reasoning, pondering, and meditating over the Word’s Scriptures. Father examines all hearts, and if acceptable, the Word becomes more than a mere writing of words. It serves in an ongoing learning process that brings understanding and wisdom from Father. But if a person is not acceptable to Father, they will not accept the truth. They are kept in darkness about Father and Her future plans. If like Judas Iscariot, they knew the truth but did not follow the narrow path, then they are stripped of any further wisdom from Father. Their end will be the same as Judas and all of the rest of Satan’s followers.

Now consider:

1 Corinthians 3:18 “The Folly of Human Wisdom.
No one should deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, he must become foolish so that he can become wise.”

Satan deceived his own heart and mind by thinking he also was wise in his own eyes. Had he dismissed his thoughts as foolish, he might have regained his senses and not have corrupted his wisdom.

Proverbs 23:23 “Buy—and do not sell—truth, wisdom, instruction, and understanding.”

You buy it by offering yourself as a slave of Christ in service to Father. It is the only payment Father will accept.

Proverbs 2:1-7 “Wisdom’s Worth
1 My son, if you accept my words”

knowledge first, with acceptance.

and store up my commands within you,
2 listening closely to wisdom”

learn, understand, then listen for Father’s guidance which is wisdom.
and directing your heart to understanding;

3 furthermore, if you call out to insight
and lift your voice to understanding,

4 if you seek it like silver
and search for it like hidden treasure,

5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and discover the knowledge of God.”

The deep hidden knowledge you have all been learning.

6 “For the LORD gives wisdom;
from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

7 He stores up success for the upright;
He is a shield for those who live with integrity”

James 1:5-8 “Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith without doubting. For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. An indecisive man is unstable in all his ways.”

Ponder, meditate.
